MUSC Fundraiser Begins with Play This Weekend

Meadowlands and Farmstead are joining other area golf courses in supporting Run For The Children, a two day fundraiser for the Medical University of South Carolina Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston.

Runners, including a team of high school girls from across South Carolina will begin their run in Charleston on June 12 and arrive in North Myrtle Beach on June 18. The team will average 20 miles per day to raise money ad awareness for the hospital.

You can show your support by playing Meadowlands and Farmstead on Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5. A portion of your greens fee that day will go directly to the children’s hospital.

There are also collection jars in the pro shops of more than a dozen courses in the East Coast Golf Management group.

You can also show your support through a $50 hole sponsorship  and by donating items which will be part of a silent auction during this two day weekend event.

For info, contact Meadowlands/Farmstead GM Jason Monahan farmstead1@atmc.net or call Angela Robinette, one of the adult runners at 843-694-6475.
